Printmaking

Description: In class, we were split into partners, and each group of partners got different biomes; my partner and I were in the jungle. After we found out, we had to choose an animal from that biome. After we picked an animal, we had to draw it on a piece of paper, and then we had to trace it hard because underneath was Styrofoam. After we traced hard on the Styrofoam, we had to grab acrylic paint and paint all of it. Then, we transferred the painted Styrofoam to our final paper. 

Extension Activity: After students are done with their artwork, we can have them create a paper describing what their animal needs to survive in their habitat and biome and what it would looks like.
